Okay, you guys are already familiar with this dress from my Keeping Inspired post. Well, this is the official feature. Some of you may not have known but, a lot of my style consists of things that are just easy to wear: dresses, skirts, loose tops & pants because it’s just who I am. Seriously, I literally started wearing jeans just a few years ago (never used to be a huge fan, too hot in Miami).
Ever since I gained weight over the past few years a lot of my old flowy favorites don’t fit just the way I’ve wanted them to so I’ve been actively seeking new favorites that are effortless and can be styled in multiple ways and this linen dress from Zara IS. IT.
Now, I do love a lot of Zaras pieces. I understand that it is fast fashion but, it’s a great way for people who cannot necessarily afford designer to be able to get their hands on designer-inspired and unique pieces. I will say that for someone with a large bust and curves it’s sometimes difficult to find Zara clothing that flatters my figure. Furthermore, some prices are a straight-up robbery in exchange for the quality. But, their accessories are major and this dress caused me to break my one rule when shopping at Zara: never buy anything full priced. When I saw it I fell in-love, simply said. It’s from their TRF collection, it’s white, lined, linen, and a classic piece that I think will look great on a lot of different figures. The tortoise-shell buttons and bow in the back are some of my favorite details (as always, items linked below).
Outfit 1: White-on-white + straw bag + simple accessories.
Perfect for those days when you are running out the door and just can’t be bothered to wear anything fitted. This dress is midi-length but, since I love showing off my legs, I can choose how much skin I want to show with the buttons. I can see myself wearing this to a cute picnic or any relaxed daytime outing.

Tortoise “Grace Jones” shades (similar here)
Outfit 2: Naturally, White-on-white + scarf + tortoise mules.
I was inspired by the 50s-era of women pairing head-scarfs with cat-eye sunglasses on their way to some amazing destination. And although I am not going on vacation anytime soon, I can definitely see myself wearing this to whichever exotic location on my list. I thought I would incorporate a neck-scarf instead paired with my favorite “cat-eye” shades. I wanted to restyle the dress as a top so I paired it with high-waisted denim shorts. I think this look is perfect for a dinner by the beach or anywhere with a bit of wind to add a little much-needed drama to the outfit.
Which one was your favorite?
