Vintage wasn’t always my thing but, I’m happy to say I’ve come around to it. I think it was less of a matter of being open to it and more about finding pieces I truly connected with. I recently discovered a great little spot based in the Miami Design District called The Wired Heart through, one of my coffee shop faves: All Day. As soon as I saw this matching pink set on the hanger, I knew I had to have it.

Matching sets are a no brainer to me because you really have a minimum of three outfits to work with either wearing the set together or with other pieces. I fell even more in-love with this because of it’s western inspired buttons and criss-cross detailing. I love the traditional feminine color it comes in but, the relaxed masculine fit that gives it an edgy vibe. Masculine, feminine and edgy is definitely something I connect with and relaxed fits are one of my favorite silhouettes to work with because of the versatility.

I styled this set with gold dainty accessories including a body chain and mix-matched earrings (my favorite way to wear them), as well as reflecting circular shades to update the look. I kept it casual with a pair of simple white sneaks and of course a half tuck to define my waist line. I personally love tucking shirts, I tuck anything I can get my hands on. Half-tuck, full-tuck, front-tuck; it’s the perfect trick to define anyone’s waist and pull an outfit together. Plus, it always adds a cool vibe.
